I am a proud Mama of 4 beautiful babes and wife to a very supportive Hubby in Phoenixville PA. I officially started my journey to become an IBCLC in 2012, interning at Paoli Hospital while taking general education classes and enriched lactation education classes. Completing the courses successfully and 500+ clinical hours later, I sat for the IBCLE exam in July 2013 and was awarded the title International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I currently work part-time at Paoli Hospital as a Lactation consultant and part-time in private practice. I am a member of the Pro-LC, ILCA, and board member of the Nursing Mothers Alliance (NMA) where I co-teach breastfeeding counselor classes in the fall and spring. My background also includes a BA in Clinical Sociology with an emphasis on counseling.
My whole life, I never doubted I wanted to be a mom someday. My trip along the path that paved the way to this career is nothing short of fate- I consider myself so lucky to be working with some of my favorite people…new Mamas and their babes!
