I officially started my journey to become an IBCLC in 2012, interning at Paoli Hospital while taking general education classes and enriched lactation education classes. Completing the courses successfully and 500+ clinical hours later, I sat for the IBCLE exam in July 2013 and was awarded the title International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I currently work full-time in private practice. I serve as the Sergeant at arms on the board of Pro-LC, am a member of USLCA and previously served as a board member of the Nursing Mothers Alliance (NMA). I am excited to begin a partnership with the Pettaway Pursuit Foundation providing mentorship to individuals pursuing their CLC/IBCLC clinical hours. My background also includes a BA in Clinical Sociology with an emphasis on counseling.
I am a mom to four sweet kids, wife to a supportive husband and we live in Phoenixville. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, cooking, and cheering on the sidelines of my kids many sports and activities.
